Roti Jala with Beef Curry


  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups wheat flour 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tin 285g SUNSTAR Beef Curry


  1. Put all the ingredients into the mixer and blend, excluding SUNSTAR Beef Curry
  2. Make sure all ingredients are evenly mixed to a liquid batter. 
  3. Run the batter through a sieve. 
  4. Note: If the batter is too thick, does not go through the sieve smoothly, you can mix another half cup of water.
  5. Heat up the pan. Once its hot, pour the batter slowly on to the pan by making multiple circles on the pan to form web shape.
  6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes, lift up the Roti Jala and place to a plate. 
  7. No need to flip the Roti Jala in the pan. 
  8. Repeat the step until the batter runs out. This recipe can make 20 pieces of Roti Jala. 
  9. Roti Jala is best eaten with our SUNSTAR Beef Curry. Open a can and heat up the contents via stove or microwave. Serve immediately.
